First off, I am a fan of Asics clothing and shoes and have plenty in my closet and drawers if you don't believe me. I read the reviews and they are all pretty accurate, but wanted to put my two cents in since I mostly run and cross train/workout at the gym.Anyway, the positive: they are very lightweight and almost feel like you are wearing nothing at all. The shorts are about knee length which I tend to like since I wear a compression layer underneath (Nike Pro Combat, to be exact) and when they are longer than the shorts I wear, I think it's a bit tacky. Negative: the drawstring is pretty terrible/cheap, but the waistband still helps keep it up.Overall, I do LIKE them, not love them. I bought them to mostly run in because most of the running bottoms I see/read about have an inner liner and this does NOT, so I bought them. I would say that this is a good "hybrid" that you can mostly work out in and when running, not have to worry about too much sweat due to the fact that they are very light and breathable. Good workout short, not a great running bottom.I bought these shorts because they do not have a lining. I like shorts without a lining as I find linings can chafe over time. The shorts are comfortable, look nice and wash up nicely. They are comfortable to wear for basketball, in the gym or a nice run of 3-6 miles. I haven't worn them for longer runs so I don't know if they would be comfortable for anything longer than a 10K. I often buy Asics products as I find them to be of high quality and durability. In general, the product delivers as advertised.I would have given them 5 stars but the shorts have no pockets. I knew that when I bought them, but, I like to have pockets in my shorts, but that's just me and it's not a big issue.I really like Asics shoes and their sleeveless workout tops. Asics shorts on the other hand are not the best out there but when the price is right I will purchase them. The material used for these shorts are great and breathable. Asics make their shorts a little on the big size in my opinion. I'm a medium but these are big mediums. The length is a little long for running. I like the thin waist band, style and fact that they have NO pockets. The drawstring is the worst design flaw. It is way, way too long and super flimsy. I cut mine and tied off the ends so it is better. I would never pay full retail price for these shorts.Good to wearI was looking for something that was both longer length than running shorts and less baggy than basketball shorts, but could function well in both situations.These shorts are the perfect hybrid of the two. I went with a Small and they sit just barely above my knee cap (I'm 5'11" and 31 waist) and are form fitting enough to keep your legs from looking like toothpicks. Take notes, Nike: Asics knows what's up.My only "gripe" is that I didn't find these sooner. I now have a pair of running shorts and basketball shorts that I'll probably never use.No pockets or inner liner. I bought these for the gym, and at the same time I purchased underarmor's raid shorts. The raids are so much better (pockets with no liner) that never use the bombas.Nice color and quality but bigger than it should be unless you are very tall.Pretty good product. The shorts fit well and look good.I don't like how companies are trending away from pockets. I knew I wasn't getting pockets when I bought these shorts, but... they would be nice.Es una lastima que no tenga bolsas, pero por el precio no me puedo quejar.
